Insulators Home Exteriors was established in Kensington, Maryland as a home improvement company specializing in energy conservation products. At the time of its inception in 1977, the nation was feeling an energy crunch. Conservation was uppermost in the minds of homeowners throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Insulators of Maryland met that need. They offered these energy conscious homeowners the opportunity to obtain special products that would cut down on their home heating and cooling bills. These products were Replacement Windows, Storm Windows and Storm Doors. In one short year, Insulators of Maryland took off. It became necessary to increase their staff of office, sales and production personnel. In the next three years, Insulators had realized such tremendous growth that they had outgrown their small Kensington offices. It was then they relocated to Rockville, Maryland where larger office and warehouse space was available. After a number of years, the energy conservation scare began to subside. However, the demand for good quality home improvement products remained. Insulators chose to specialize in Replacement Windows, bay, bow and Garden Windows, Roofing and Siding and Concrete. By specializing in those highly desired products, they could meet the demand and preferences of their clientele providing faster and better quality installations, conserving energy, and since they held the exclusive distribution rights and represented some of America's largest manufacturers, they could do this at very competitive prices.

We also carry General Liability, Workmen's Compensation, Personal Injury and Property Damage with one million dollars in umbrella coverage, plus job completion bonding in all three areas.
